Beautiful Blue bird necklace from Mom

My Mom helped with the show at Scott antique Market and because I really have this thing for BlueBirds she bought me this vintage glass bead necklace from the 30's just because. She is the best. We have had so much fun doing shows together this year.

I hope to be back at Scott Anitque market next month.

WOW!!!!

It was so much fun to visit and show at Scott Antique Market. It has been 15 years since I last showed there and believe it or not

I had customers that remembered me.

So much great stuff I want to sell all my furniture and start over with goodies from the market, and the great finds for my work.

Boy was it hard not to spend all my beach money.

My teenage daughter would not be to Happy with that so I had to control myself.

WELL we are back from Fairhope what a great show we had to end our spring break vacation. I never thought I would miss a little town so much, but when we return each year for Arts and Crafts we see lots of old friend and past customers, you then remember how much you love the place. I have always called this town the best kept secret of the South.

Fairhope has great charm and the most beautiful flowers up and down the streets, and the 9 years living there I never once had the chance to see anyone planting it is like a flower fairy comes and just plants away all year long. Then there are the shops great clothes and gifts line the streets. Maybe someday we can move back

WOW!!!! I can not believe my show season is about to start 1 weeks and a few days, and it all begins the world wind of spring shows. The first show is right here at home and every season for the past 23 years I still forget something for the first show, so it is a good thing we are home in our own beds. Of course I always say I am going to be ready with lots of new great stuff and a plenty of the old to be prepared for the season. Well I have lots of great new things and still working on the old as always..... so it looks like another year of working like a dog every week getting ready for the next show, but my husband and daughter would not know how to act if I was all caught up, I do it to myself I think the pressure of the show makes me more creative sounds good anyway. I love the spring shows they are outdoors with lots of new customers and many years of great old customers I have a pretty big following in most areas so I really look forward to seeing everyone.

THE STUDIO time to get back to work its CLEAN!!

After many hours of going through several boxes of vintage goodies that I have collected over the years I think I have everything a place now, with all my great finds separated in there own place I think it is going to be a very creative year My studio is clean not sure for how long because when show season starts it is non stop working.

I am new to the blog world not sure how this all works but hope to figure it out.
